Sultan Salahuddin Mosque, also known as the Blue Mosque. Capped by one of the largest religious domes in the world, the mosque uses blue as a dominant colour and thus the name. It occupies about 36 acres of beautiful parkland surrounded by the Municipal Council Tower, State Library, State Museum and the Lake Gardens. The Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Mosque is the state mosque of Selangor. It is Malaysia's biggest mosque and also the second biggest mosque in Southeast Asia after Istiqlal Mosque in Jakarta, Indonesia.
